House of Amitié

Founded in 2023 by lifelong friends Jemma Lewis and Angela Bush, House of Amitié was established to bring to life the time honoured art of traditional paper marbling.

Based in the Wiltshire countryside, all of our designs begin at the marbling tray in Jemma's workshop where designs are created in exactly the same way they have been done for hundreds of years. Our unique designs are then translated into seamless repeats and developed into beautiful digitally printed fabrics, wallpapers, cushions, lampshades and other interior décor products.

House of Amitié maintains a 'craft with conscience' sustainable approach, with materials sourced close to home & all products then printed and made to order in the UK by our talented partnering print houses, small businesses and individual makers.

House of Amitié Wallpapers

Our House of Amitié marbled wallpapers are digitally produced onto 2 types of non-woven paper, responsibly sourced from Germany with all inks water-based, non-toxic and  environmentally safe - free from VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).

Our first substrate, our 'Eco Non-Woven' paper, is made completely from renewable fibres.

Our Second is 'Mica Coated Fiberous Non-Woven' paper', partially made from recycled plastic bottles. These Mica coated fiberous wallpapers provide a beautiful texture and jewel like quality to further enhance our magical marbled designs.

All our marbled wallpapers are printed by our highly skilled, family owned manufacturing partner in the UK, who have lovingly produced wallpaper since the 19th Century.
