UK shipping 

Samples:

Samples of wallpaper and fabric will be sent via Royal Mail - our standard set rate of an additional £1.95 postage fee will be applied at checkout.

Wallpaper By The Roll / Fabrics By The Metre:

Due to storage and space requirements, we have chosen to have our wallpapers (by the roll) and fabrics (by the metre) shipped to you via a local fulfilment centre based in Wiltshire. As such, combined orders of fabric by the metre / wallpapers by the roll and sample swatches (of either wallpaper and/or fabric) will not be dispatched together and separate postage costs will apply.

Wallpapers - Delivery Fees & Lead Time From Dispatch:

  • The standard delivery charge of our wallpapers within the UK is £12.00. This fee is applied at checkout.
  • Upon dispatch from our partnering Fulfillment Centre, goods will be received within 1-2 working days.
  • You will receive a tracking reference at the time of dispatch for your wallpaper order (this service does not apply to swatches dispatched).  

* Please ensure you are in receipt of (and have checked) your wallpaper rolls before booking in any contractors.

Fabrics By The Roll - Delivery Fees & Lead Time From Dispatch:

  • Our standard set rate for the shipment of fabrics by the metre within the UK is £25.00 (sent via Courier due to the large dimensions of the fabric rolls). This fee is applied at checkout.
  • Upon dispatch from our partnering Fulfilment Centre, goods will be received within 1-2 working days.
  • You will receive a tracking reference at the time of dispatch for all fabrics by the roll (this service does not apply to swatches dispatched).  

* Please ensure you are in receipt of (and have checked) your fabrics by the metre before booking in any contractors.


International Shipping:

We are pleased to offer our International Customers shipping worldwide via our website for wallpaper & fabric samples, wallpaper by the roll, cushion covers & lampshades (standard sized lampshades only). Each item has a shipping charge worked out at checkout for their destination address & country.

Please note all of our products have different delivery requirements & charges applied due to the size / shape of the packaging and dependant on the destination they are intended for. 

If you are outside of the UK and wish to purchase fabric by the roll then please get in contact with us at hello@houseofamitie.com for a custom quote (as this is a large bulky item shipping rates differ dependant on the quantity, weight and your destination address).

* Please note that for International shipments any duties or taxes charged at customs are the responsibility of the buyer. 

 

Packaging:

As a sustainable brand, House of Amitié makes every effort to keep our packaging to a minimum, using sustainable packaging where possible as well as reusing packaging into us.

Samples are sent using recycled eco friendly envelopes and all House of Amitié  stationary (sample note cards & comp slips etc) use recycled paper / card printed in the UK.

Our wallpapers are shipped to you in eco friendly & sustainable double walled carboard cartons to ensure your order is received in pristine condition. Our cartons are reusable / recyclable and the shrink film (used to cover the wallpaper rolls) is also recyclable.

Our fabrics are sent by the roll (measuring 160 cm length) to ensure your orders are kept in pristine condition for when you receive them. Due to the large dimensions of these packages, any fabric orders by the metre are required to be sent via courier.

* Pls note our fabric rolls are currently delivered wrapped in a clear plastic sheet & then with an outer layer of protective thick black plastic to ensure that goods are fully protected from the elements when in transit. Unfortunately at this time we have not been able to source a non-plastic wrap alternative for our fabrics that is fit for purpose & suitable to safely transport fabric orders (by the metre). As a brand we strive to be a responsible retailer and look to continue to improve, review and research new sustainable packaging options as they emerge.  

 

Returns:

House of Amitié only allows for returns if / when an item is faulty (for further detail of our Returns Policy please refer to our full Returns Terms, Conditions and Policies Section of our Website). 

 

When Placing Your Order(s):

Please ensure you check your order ahead of completing your purchase to ensure you're 100% happy with your purchase. We strongly recommend purchasing samples ahead of placing wallpapers by the roll / fabrics by the metre / ready-made to order products (such as cushions or lampshades).

As stipulated, we do not accept returns due to the nature of every order being bespoke, produced on demand to the desired quantity (set by each customer). For further clarity on these terms please refer to our Returns Policy.

In addition to checking the items you have ordered, please ensure to enter the correct delivery address when you place your goods. House of Amitié cannot be held responsible for delays or any losses that occur due to incorrect address information given.
