Are your wallpapers and fabrics in stock?
We print our products on demand so each order is bespoke to the customer. The only stock we carry is to manage sample requests so please allow 5-7 weeks for the printing & delivery of your orders.
* Please note at the time of launch (early May 2023) only Juniper fabric swatches will be readily available (in the 3 fabric bases of 100% Fine Linen / Linen Union / Cotton Velvet). All other fabric swatches & all wallpaper swatches will be on a 2-3 week lead-time on this occasion.
What size are the samples?
Our wallpaper samples are a generous A4 size for as we believe this really showcases the beauty of the pattern and helps visualise on a large expanse of a wall.
Our fabric samples are A6 size & come presented in a hand stamped House of Amitié recycled card.
Samples of both wallpaper and fabrics are chargeable at £3.00 each + postage.
Samples will usually be sent out within 1 week of your order by Royal Mail (for UK addresses only). Please note samples are always sent separately to cut metres of fabric / rolls of wallpaper. Even if ordered together they will arrive separately and the respective postage charges will apply.

What size are the wallpapers?
All of our wallpapers by the roll are the standard UK size of approximately 52cm (21 inches) wide and 10m (11 yards) long.
Can the printed marbled fabrics be washed?
We recommend that our fabrics are dry clean only.
Do you have a minimum order?
The minimum order for our wallpapers is 1 roll.
The minimum order for our fabrics is 1m length with a width of 138/140 or 142cm width - depending on the fabric quality chosen. (Fabric width information is specified in the details section of our Fabric Product pages).
* Due to the nature of Digital Printing, please note there is a tolerance of +/- 10% on all fabrics ordered by the metre, as specified on our Fabric Product pages and Returns Terms, Conditions & Policy pages.
Why are the fabrics costly to send?
All of our fabrics are sent rolled to ensure your fabric order arrives to you in pristine condition.
The velvet especially is a luxurious fabric and folding should be avoided where possible. Folding could crease and crush the fabric pile, causing marks which could be hard to remove.
Due to the size and weight of the packages (when sending fabric by the roll) shipping costs are higher compared to standard - sized packages as they are required to be sent via courier as a bulky item.
Can I have a wallpaper design or fabric design in a different colourway?
The development process involved to create new colourways or new designs is both costly and lengthy. As such, we are unable to offer this service but welcome feedback as to what you might like to see in our future collections!
Can I have a pattern on another fabric not currently offered for that design?
As above, all alternative variations on what we currently offer need to be sampled, checked and approved which remains a costly and lengthy process. As mentioned, we welcome feedback and suggestions of what you would love to see in our future collections - in paticular any fabric qualities and interior products you'd love to see available on our site!
How do I pronounce Amitié?
